Gas-guzzling cars may cause global warming. But the design made by Good year of a new tire made from moss will help them to decrease the air pollution.

In this year 2018, it is the wackiest green concept that the tire made from moss will keep the air free from carbon dioxide. The structure of tire is very unique and that features living moss growing within its sidewall. The design and structure of tire planned in such way that it absorb and circulate moisture and water from the road surface. Then with the help of photosynthesis, It converts carbon dioxide into oxygen and releases into the air.

This will be used to keep the vegetation alive and allow it to clean the air whilst in use. It use the sun as energy source.
During photosynthesis process, tire absorbs energy and use it to power electronics inside it, such as onboard sensors, a customizable safety light, and an artificial intelligence processing unit. Which helps to communicate with other vehicles at the speed of light. Goodyear gives the concept that Oxygene can also communicate with tires on other vehicles and with infrastructure through speed-of-light LiFi technology, and illumination will help it signal when the vehicle is turning or brakes are being applied.

This concept is completely eco-friendly, unveiled by Goodyear at Geneva International Motor Show, being held in Switzerland from March 8 to March 18. It produces almost 3,000 tonnes of oxygen a year.

Chris Delaney, president of Goodyear Europe, Middle East, and Africa, said: ‘With more than two-thirds of the world population expected to live in cities by 2050, the demands on transport networks in urban environments will increase substantially.“By contributing in this way to cleaner air generation, the tire could help enhance the quality of life and health for city-dwellers.” said by Chris Delaney.
